Grow Some Golden Oregano In Your Organic Garden
Take a look at the gorgeous colour of this golden oregano. It’s contrast is so beautiful in my organic garden. It’s fairly easy to grow once it is established.
It is greener through most of the year, then turns a golden colour through the heat of summer. Through summer it grows longer stems with flowers on the end. Towards the end of summer I cut it back and dry what I’ve cut to use in the kitchen through winter. I use it to cook with any time I might use marjoram.
Anywhere the plant comes in contact with the soil it may put down roots, so it’s quite easy to divide to create new plants, but it doesn’t really like growing in pots too much.
It’s a pretty addition to any organic garden and another delicious herb.
Happy Organic Gardening, Healthy Living…
