More seeds in my Organic Garden
OK, we’ve hit mid-summer now. I’ve made space for the next succession of lettuce (2 types), spring onions, carrots and radish. By planting at monthly intervals, it means we’ll be enjoying harvesting my organic garden for much longer than if I’d just planted a main crop and left it at that.
The very hot weather we’ve recently had sent a heap of things to seed, so they needed replacing anyway. I have a hard time growing lettuce through our really hot summers, so I’m thinking about growing them hydroponically – yes, they’ll still be organic!
All my strawberries have been devoured by millipedes, so I’m going to try strawberries too. It’ll be an interesting experiment. I’ll post pics when I have them.
Happy Organic Gardening to you,
Julie
