Produce from my Organic Garden

OK… finally took some time to get my husband to take a few photos of some of the produce from my organic vegetable garden. We’ve had a couple of cooler days, but the earth is parched. The garden only survives because of the irrigation system. Take a look at our harvest.

Organic Gardening

I grew blackjack and lebanese zucchini (in the red basket to the left). I swear they both double in size overnight. In my right hand I’m holding heirloom tomatoes and banana capsicum. The container in my left hand is filled with cherry tomatoes. Then continuing to my left there is corn, silverbeet, leeks, garlic and beetroot at the front of the photo.

There’s plenty more that we’re eating from the garden that I haven’t picked for the photo. I’ve started pulling out things that have gone to seed, including lettuce, rocket and broccoli. I have things planned to go into these spaces as soon as I get some spare time.

It brings me so much joy to grow with my own hands, along with the help of mother nature, healthy, organic food for my family – brimming with life energy! Are you growing your own organic vegetables? If you don’t know where to start, take a look at my book “Organic Food Gardening for Beginners“.

Oh… and yes, it’s me in the photo.

Happy Organic Gardening,

Julie
